For Pre-employment Medical
	Will a medical certificate of fitness from my doctor suffice for the joining formalities at TCS? You are required to submit a medical certificate only in the format prescribed by TCS which needs to be verified by a registered medical practitioner with minimum qualification as M.B.B.S.
	Where will I get the TCS prescribed medical certificate form? If you are an experienced professional, you can download the medical form once you accept the offer through www.careers.tcs.com >> login with EP Reference ID & Password >> OnBoarding >> Other forms >> Medical Certificate of Fitness. If you are a fresher, you can download the medical form once you receive your joining letter through NextStep >> ILP Corner >> First Day at TCS >> Joining Formalities.
	Will I be required to bear the cost of the medical check-up? Yes. TCS will not bear the cost for the medical check-up. Travelling expenses incurred to reach the medical centre/doctor would also have to be borne by you.
	Can I go to a medical center/doctor of my choice that is close to my residence/college or is it absolutely imperative that I go to the TCS-authorized medical centre? Yes. You may undergo the medical checkup at a medical center/doctor convenient for you. There are no TCS authorized medical centers.
	What are the documents that I would be required to carry to the medical center/doctor for the medical check-up? You would be required to carry the Hard copy of the medical form, photo id proof and a recent colored passport size photograph. The photograph must be affixed on the Medical form and duly cross signed by the medical practitioner.
	Am I required to carry documents (medical/surgical reports) related to my recent medical history while visiting the medical practitioner? Yes. It is advisable that you carry your previous medical/surgical reports, if any. This would help the physician/doctor at the medical center know your medical history better.
	Where do I submit the Medical form? Once your doctor/physician has dully filled and signed the form, you need to hand it over to the Induction Coordinator/ILP Coordinator on day of joining TCS.
	Can the medical certificate be attested by a Government / Private Doctor? Can a MD doctor attest the medical certificate? Either a Government or Private Doctor or MD can attest the medical certificate provided the doctor is legally qualified and a registered medical practitioner with minimum qualification as M.B.B.S.
	Is Registration number of the doctor mandatory? The Registration number of the doctor is mandatory and has to be mentioned in the space provided on the medical form.
	I am unable to download the medical form from the link/path shared by you. In case you are unable to download the form even after you receive your joining letter, for fresher, you can send an email to ilp.support@tcs.com with the screenshot of the error page.
